Firstly, Mr. Wei Lan elaborated on several important application scenarios of AI in biomedical field from the close connection between AI and biomedicine. He detailed the applications of AI in genome sequence comparison, gene variant detection, protein structure prediction, disease diagnosis, medical image processing, and medicine discovery. He emphasized that the introduction of AI technology has significantly enhanced the accuracy of genetic data analysis, providing robust support for precise disease diagnosis and treatment. Furthermore, the application of AI in medical image processing has drastically improved both the accuracy and efficiency of diagnoses. Additionally, the utilization of AI in pharmaceutical discovery has dramatically shortened the development cycle of new drugs, making a vital contribution to advancing human health.

Secondly, Mr. Wei Lan shared his scientific research experience and valuable advice with the students present. He emphasized that the road of scientific research requires maintaining the love and persistent pursuit of science; at the same time, it is necessary to start from the basics and gradually accumulate experience and achievements. In addition, investing enough time and energy, making good use of network resources, and maintaining an open attitude towards learning are also important factors for the success of scientific research. He also particularly mentioned that, as a postgraduate student, one should learn to adjust one's mindset, maintain a balanced lifestyle, and keep good communication and cooperation with one's supervisor. For the students' future career planning and development directions, Mr. Wei Lan also gave pertinent advice and guidance.
