Good news! Two Party branches of our school were selected as the fourth batch of "National Party Building Model Branches" by the Ministry of Education

Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the list of the fourth batch of national party building demonstration universities, benchmarking faculties, and model branch cultivation and creation units. The Particle Astrophysics Teaching and Labor Party Branch of the School of Physical Science and Engineering Technology and the Fourth Undergraduate Party Branch of the School of Computer and Electronic Information of our university were selected for the fourth batch of "National Model Party Branches for Party Building Work" cultivation and creation units list.

In recent years, The Particle Astrophysics Teaching and Labor Party Branch of the School of Physical Science and Engineering Technology has adhered to the basic work idea of " focus on party building around the center, do a good job in party building to promote the center, and test party building to see development ". Given the characteristics of the branch's high-level research platform, strong teaching and research capabilities of party members, and the large number and great potential of young teachers, the branch has leveraged party building to lead professional development, promote curriculum reform, and deepen teaching and research reforms. This has created a distinctive work feature of mutual promotion between party building and business, effectively advancing the comprehensive progress, comprehensive excellence, comprehensive innovation, and comprehensive enhancement of the branch and its members. The branch has been rated as a five-star grassroots university party in the autonomous region, passed the first batch of exemplary party branches for party building work in universities of Guangxi , and successfully launched the X-ray polarization detection CubeSat led by branch members, won the third Guangxi Innovation and Excellence Award. The youth team focusing on-ray astrophysics and detection technology won the Guangxi Youth May Fourth Medal as a collective. Branch members achieved a historic breakthrough publishing in the journal Nature with a Guangxi local research institution as the first completion unit and received honors such as the "Advanced Individual in Emancipating the Mind, Pioneering and Innovating, Working Diligently, and Taking Responsibility" by the Guangxi Party Committee, Guangxi Youth Post, Outstanding Contribution Award by the Chinese Astronomical Society, and the prize in the Guangxi University Youth Teacher Lecture Competition for Basic Physics Courses.

The Fourth Party Branch of the Undergraduate Students of the School of Computer and Electronic Information has formed a branch integral assessment system led by the branch secretary, linked by the branch members, and participated by party members and activists, so as to strictly control the entrance to the development of student party members and innovatively carry out the development and assessment of party members. The branch adheres to both online and offline positions to strengthen the party's overall leadership, adheres to the "party building +" learning model, and promote the construction of study style with party building.The branch adheres to career navigation to lead growth, continues to do a good job in Guangxi University's grassroots party building "homework book", "party member team in class", "party members take you to talk about further education" and other characteristic brand activities, and strives to give full play to the vanguard and exemplary role of party members of the student party branch, and helps the college party building work to write a new chapter. The branch has been rated as a five-star grassroots party organization in the autonomous region, selected as the second batch of exemplary party branches for party building work in the universities of Guangxi in the new era, and has been awarded the "Advanced Student Party Branch" of Guangxi University for eight consecutive years.

As of now, our university has been selected for 21 national and regional party building "double creation" projects, including 7 national-level projects (including 1 national first batch "Double Leader" teacher party branch secretary studio and 6 national exemplary party branches for party building work) 14 regional-level projects.
