On the morning of 26 February 2024, Naixue Wang, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC of the Autonomous Region and Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, led a team to the school of Computer, Electronics and Information to inspect the opening work of the spring semester of 2024.

First of all, Secretary Wang carried out field inspection on the operation of teaching equipment, teaching environment and laboratory safety of the college.

Subsequently, he listened to the principal of the school regarding the report-back and preparations of the teachers, undergraduate and postgraduate education and teaching, discipline development, talent team planning, and project construction, as well as an overview of the current situation in these areas. He engaged in in-depth discussions with attendees regarding existing issues and offered important insights and suggestions for the school's high-quality development.

Finally, Secretary Wang delivered his concluding remarks. Drawing on the school's work and development goals for the new semester, he imparted three aspirations and directives to the college: Firstly, we must solidly advance the construction of academic disciplines, meticulously plan the layout of majors, make concerted efforts in nurturing scientific competencies and fostering talent teams, and comprehensively elevate the quality and standards of professional development. Secondly, we should foster a vibrant academic atmosphere, spur technological innovation and vitality, actively address societal development needs, and encourage teachers and students to align their studies and research with the development of Guangxi and the university, contributing to the university's "Double First-Class" initiative. Lastly, we must proactively align with the national strategy for education digitization, leveraging the strengths of its diverse majors in educational content delivery and transformation, thereby enhancing the school's social influence and reputation.
