On the afternoon of November 19, 2023, the School of Computer and Electronic Information held a grand celebration of its 30th anniversary in Hall 214. The meeting had nine agenda items and was chaired by Professor Xinzhang Wu, Dean of the School of Computer and Electronic Information. Attending today's conference are school leaders, college leaders, current and retired faculty members, representatives of current students, as well as representatives of returning alumni.

Professor Enwei Liang, member of the Standing Committee of the School Party Committee and Vice President, warmly congratulates the convening of the conference on behalf of the school, and sincerely thanks all the leaders, guests, sister units, and cooperative enterprises who have long shown concern and support for the construction and development of the school and college! Enwei Liang pointed out that the School of Computer and Electronic Information originated from the Computer Science Department formed by the merger of the Computer Software major of the former Mathematics Department and the Computer and Application major of the former Electrical Engineering Department in 1993. The college adheres to the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, takes technological innovation as the driving force, and takes serving society as its own responsibility, cultivating a large number of outstanding talents in the field of computer and electronic information in Guangxi and even the whole country. The college has achieved remarkable results in discipline construction, faculty team, scientific research achievements, and social services, making positive contributions to promoting local economic and industry development. I hope the college can accelerate the development of disciplinary connotations, strengthen planning and refine characteristics in disciplinary platforms, talent teams, research directions, social services, and continuously improve the evaluation results of third-party disciplines; It is hoped that the College will strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, expand its international vision, actively expand exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN universities in talent training, scientific research cooperation and other aspects, promote the construction of a talent training base serving ASEAN open cooperation, and make contributions to promoting the "the Belt and Road" and China ASEAN strategic partnership.

Comrade Wang Ping, a 1979 alumnus of the Radio Technology major and Vice President of Guangxi Vocational Normal University, made a speech. Ping Wang, an alumnus, is delighted with the outstanding achievements of the college. With a grateful heart, she looks back on the little things she learned and worked at her alma mater, revisiting these beautiful and unforgettable years.

Comrade Qiusuo Hu, a 2004 alumnus majoring in Computer Software and Theory and assistant to the President of Bank of China Guangxi Branch, expressed his gratitude to all the teachers and alumni of the college, and earnestly hoped for the younger students: "The conditions of the college are getting better and better.
